Boredom Buster
Whilst in lockdown I have done a lot of knitting, tv watching, bits and pieces around the house, my blog, some photo challenges plus normal housework and 3 hours a day homeschooling(work). A daily walk, little essential shopping but as most of the time is at home, I have become idle and bored with the same routine and lack of stimulus, due to not seeing family and friends. Now my left arm/shoulder has begun to complain,so I have had to reduce the amount of knitting I do. I decided to try something new and hopefully not too difficult, painting by numbers. There seems to be numerous to choose from and I didn't realise how finicky a paint job it would be. When the package arrived and I opened it up I thought it impossible, so many dots and areas of various sizes to fill with the paint supplied and the shades were aplenty also. When I begun I couldn't work out what I was painting and how it was coming together, not until I stepped away and looked at the work from afar, it made sense.
I enjoyed doing this one as a practice run, so I have bought another. Lockdown is slowly ending but I still have another painting to complete.
