Temperature Blanket
During the Covid lockdown last year, 2020, I decided to take on a knitting challenge which helped me use up some of my wool stash. I worked out a temperature scale, 3 degree increments, using the maximum temperature for Melbourne, each day. Starting with 3 stitches and increasing at each end, I worked 2 rows each day after hearing the maximum temperature for Melbourne. By the end of June I had 370 stitches and could start the decreasing and so ended up with a large blanket which when I sewed in all the ends and crocheted a border,it becomes a blanket for the winter naps on the couch.
